135. How to show the living body?

How does the body look, in our minds, when we think about, talk about, and try to understand the body?

Without thinking about it, we picture it as still images of muscles, organs, skeletons, and cells, or as system maps of nerves and blood vessels – usually separated, usually static.

But the body is alive, it is in motion, and there are constant flows, constant change, and everything is connected. The living body is NEVER still – so how do we show that?

What visual tools can help us understand, talk about, and reflect on the living body?
