Back pain is the third most common diagnosis for long-term sick leave, and for a long time, it has been difficult to explain why people get it. In the last 15-20 years, a wealth of new research has shown a direct link between lower back pain and inflammation in the Fascia, as well as the densifications in collagen structures and restructuring of hyaluronic acid that occur under pressure. This episode is about how understanding Fascia and the living body leads to new ways of both diagnosing and treating back pain, and why this research has had such a hard time coming to light. Participants in this episode are Axel Bohlin, Hans Bohlin, and Camilla Ranje Nordin.
