In this series, we have argued that our perspective—that is, how we see ourselves and the world—is not just important, but absolutely central to how we understand the body, what we research, how we build our societies, and ultimately, how we develop as human beings. We have also talked about how the perspective that permeates our society today is an objectification and simplification of reality, a reduction of what humans, life, and nature truly are. Over the course of the series, we have come to the insight that it is not really about how great we can become as people—but why we limit ourselves as we do, and in this season's final episode, we dig deeper to see what has led to this diminishment of humanity—and there, beneath the surface, we find something. Because even though we might laugh at Norse or Greek mythology today, we are in fact at least as influenced by our contemporary mythology. The myth we believe in influences how we live our lives and how we think. It distances us from our bodies and from nature. The myth we believe in is both creative and destructive, and it turns us against ourselves. The myth of progress. Participants in this episode are Axel Bohlin, Hans Bohlin, and Per Johansson.
