46. The living body doesn't look the way most people think

A living body and a dead body are not the same thing… but we pretend they are when we study anatomy and build our image of what the body looks like.

The traditional view of the body doesn't take into account that the body is alive and that there is a space between all cells with a constant flow.

But what does it look like inside a living body? You can see for yourself in the film Strolling under the skin, a fascinating journey beneath the skin. Using small video cameras, Dr. Jean Claude Guimberteau has managed to film living fascia.

That's what we're talking about in today's episode. The living body, what it looks like under the skin – and of course, we also discuss the fourth phase of water.

Participants in this episode are Axel Bohlin, Hans Bohlin, and Camilla Ranje Nordin.

TIP: Before listening to today's episode, we recommend watching the film about 23 minutes in.
