Mental illness is one of our biggest public health problems, and naturally, a lot of energy and resources are dedicated to finding a solution.
The new research and understanding of Fascia and the body as a living whole, however, brings the subject to a head. How are we physically affected by mental illness? Where are trauma, thoughts, and feelings stored in the body – and how do we understand mental illness from the perspective that there is no separation between thoughts, feelings, and the body?
When our modern view of the body divides it into parts and understands each one separately – where does that leave the understanding of mental illness?
Can an understanding of the human being as a living whole offer us new possible solutions for mental illness?
Participants in this episode are Axel Bohlin, Hans Bohlin, and Camilla Ranje.
